Each serving of Dr. Tobias Vitality provides your body with 20+ vitamins and minerals, and 315 mg of a proprietary blend, containing 42 fruits and vegetables. This is in addition to 75 mg of a fruit based enzyme complex.
But with 3,333% of your Vitamin B-1 RDA per 3 tablet serving, how do you know if this is a safe dose? What if you’re already taking a protein powder with its own multivitamin complex?
In this review we compare the Dr. Tobias tablets to two other bestselling multivitamins; Kirkland Signature Daily Multi, and Nature’s Way Alive Max Daily. This includes ingredients, dosages, cost per serving, price, and customer feedback from the combined thousands of reviews on Amazon.
We’ve also added recommendations for the best protein powder to combine with Dr. Tobias Vitality to balance your vitamin, mineral, Omega-3, probiotic, and protein intake.
Dr. Tobias Multivitamin Ingredients
If you need to supplement with high levels of vitamin A, Dr. Tobias has one of the best multivitamins on the market.
Each serving of Vitality contains 15,000 IU, which is more than any other multivitamin we’ve reviewed, and equal to the bestselling Alive Max Daily supplement from Nature’s Way.
In addition to market-leading levels of vitamin A, you’re also getting high levels of vitamin E (100 IU), calcium (175 mg), and B vitamins (50 mg B6 and 100 mcg of B12). One of the only multivitamin supplements we’ve seen to offer more is Alive Max Daily, which has an extra 100 mcg of vitamin B12.
Aside from the vitamin and mineral blend, Vitality also includes a plant enzyme complex, and proprietary blend of 42 fruits and vegetables.
It’s often difficult to quantify the benefits of proprietary blends, as there’s no breakdown of the levels of each ingredient. But the 75 mg of enzyme complex is certainly beneficial.

What sizes are available?
With a serving size of 3 tablets, each bottle provides you with 30 servings (90 tablets total). This is enough for 30 days continuous use.
At the time of writing this review, each serving was priced at $0.76. This is towards the top end of what you should expect to pay for a good multivitamin, and is more expensive than the Nature’s Way Alive Max Daily supplement (closer to $0.57 per serving).
We always recommend calculating the average cost per serving, across all sizes, before making a final buying decision.
Save money with Amazon
If you’re looking to save money on your monthly supplement order, you might want to consider the Amazon Subscribe & Save program.
Subscribe & Save allows you to unlock savings of up to 15% on a wide range of sports nutrition products, including Dr. Tobias Vitality.
You can save 5% with a subscription to 1 product, or save the full 15% by subscribing to 5 products, provided they’re all delivered to the same address. The delivery schedule can be set from monthly, up to once every 6 months.
Although 5 products might sound a lot, if you already supplement with a protein powder, multivitamin, creatine, BCAA, and glutamine, the savings can soon add up. But it’s best to order before you run out of your current supplements, because Amazon set the day of the month each order is sent (same day each month e.g. 14th.).
Who is Dr. Tobias?
Dr. Tobias is a health product line designed by Dr. Tobias Ihde from Germany, who has an extensive background in Sports Science and an emphasis on Sports and Medicine.
As a company, Dr. Tobias quickly established itself as a market leader in health supplements, with thousands of highly rated reviews currently available on Amazon. This is mainly for their 14 Day Quick Cleanse Detox and Optimum Omega 3 Fish Oils supplements, but they also produce Garcinia Cambogia, Probiotics, Turmeric, Multivitamins, and much more.
Efficacy, purity, and potency are three of the fundamental goals for each one of their supplements, which is attested to by scientific studies, including one by LabDoor. The study analyzed 53 best-selling fish oil supplements and found the Dr. Tobias Omega-3 Fish Oil recorded category highs for EPA and DHA content.
But knowing what’s contained in each of these supplements isn’t always easy, which is why we recommend taking a look at our other Dr. Tobias supplement reviews. Each includes a summary of the health benefits, a list of sizes and flavors that are available, and dosages for the main ingredients.
We’ve also added comparisons with other top rated nutrition companies, to guarantee you only buy the best supplement for your fitness goals.
Review Overview
Overall Review Rating
4.5 / 5
So, is Dr. Tobias Multivitamin worth buying?
At the time of writing this review, Dr. Tobias had one of the best multivitamin supplements on the market. But it's also one of the most expensive.
A one-month supply of 90 capsules cost just over $22, roughly equivalent to $0.76 per serving. That's considerably more than the Centrum Adults multivitamin, which was priced closer to $0.14 per serving for the larger bottles.
But the level of vitamins and minerals provided by the Dr. Tobias Multivitamin is far superior to Centrum. For example, 15,000 IU of vitamin A compared to 3,500 IU, and 500 mg of vitamin C compared to just 60 mg.
The only downside is the comparitively low level of vitamin D (400 IU per serving). Most multivitamins, including Centrum Adults, are closer to 1,000 IU.
But overall, we still maintain that Dr. Tobias has one of the best multivitamins on the market in terms of quality, coverage, and overall vitamin and mineral levels.
