Each serving of MusclePharm Armor-V provides you with a Multi-Nutrient Complex containing 20+ vitamins and minerals, most at a dose that’s 100%+ of your RDA.

But Armor-V is a lot more than a simple multivitamin. You’re also getting 769 mg of their Omega 3-6-9 complex, 942 mg of V-F Power System, 293 mg of Antioxidant Matrix, and a probiotic and immune enhancer (3 billion CFU).

But with 1067% of your Thiamin RDA per 6 capsule serving, how do you know if this is a safe dose? What if you’re already taking a protein powder with its own multivitamin complex?

In this review we compare MusclePharm Armor-V to some of the best multivitamin supplements on the market; Dr. Tobias Vitality, and Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men/Opti-Women. This includes ingredients, dosages, cost per serving, price, and customer feedback from the thousands of reviews on Amazon.

We’ve also added recommendations for the best protein powder to combine with Armor-V to balance your vitamin, mineral, Omega-3, probiotic, and protein intake.

MusclePharm Armor-V Ingredients

MusclePharm Armor-V Ingredients

Compared to most other multivitamin supplements, MusclePharm Armor-V has high levels of vitamin A (6250 IU), vitamin C (135 mg), and vitamin K (80 mcg).

However, it’s the level of vitamin B12 that really sets this supplement apart, with 130 mcg per serving. With the exception of Nature’s Way Alive Max Daily (200 mcg), that’s the highest we’ve seen throughout our multivitamin reviews.

Vitamin B12 plays an important role in energy metabolism, and correcting the megaloblastic anemia that can be caused by vitamin B12 deficiency can help reduce signs of fatigue and weakness.

But if you need a multivitamin that supports strong bones and teeth, with a high amount of calcium, there are better supplements on the market.

That’s because each serving of MusclePharm Armor-V contains just 47 mg of calcium. That falls well below the 175 mg per serving you get with Dr. Tobias Multivitamin, and the 237 mg found in each serving of Nature’s Way Alive Max Daily.

What sizes are available?

With a serving size of 6 capsules, each bottle provides you with either 30 or 60 servings – equivalent to a 1-2 month supply.

At the time of writing this review, the best value for money comes from the bottle with 180 capsules. Each serving was priced at $0.65, compared to $0.70 per serving with the bottle of 180 tablets.

In terms of price, this puts MusclePharm Armor-V towards the top-end of the market for multivitamins. But what sets it apart is its combination of vitamins, minerals, probiotics, Omega fish oils, antioxidants, and vegetable blends.

Multivitamin Supplement Buying Guide

Review Overview

Overall Review Rating

4.5 / 5

So, is MuscleParm Armor-V worth buying?

Overall, you're getting a healthy dose of a wide range of vitamins and minerals, but we can't see that it's good value for money.

At the time of writing this review, each 180-capsule bottle (1-month supply), cost around $20. This puts the cost of a serving at around $0.70.

In comparison, Optimum Nutrition Opti-Men was available for closer to $0.44 per serving, based on one of the larger 150-count or 240-count bottles.

Each serving of Opti-Men has higher levels of vitamins and minerals across the board compared to Armor-V, with the exception of vitamin K (5 mcg less) and vitamin B12 (30 mg less).

For example, Opti-Men includes 10,000 IU of vitamin A, 600 mcg of folic acid, and 1500 IU of vitamin D. That's compared to 6,250 IU of vitamin A, 130 mcg of folic acid, and 400 IU of vitamin D for the Armor-V multivitamin.

In summary, Opti-Men from Optimum Nutrition offers far better value for money.
