Vitafusion MultiVites Gummy Multivitamin Supplement Review

Vitafusion MultiVites are gummy multivitamins designed around an essential daily formula. This includes Vitamin D, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin B12 (each with a dose that’s 200% of your RDA).

But whereas some multivitamin/multimineral supplements offer dosages at 3,000%+ of your RDA, Vitafusion keeps levels much closer to 100%. So what constitutes a safe dose, and how much does your body actually need? What if you’re already taking a protein powder with its own multivitamin complex?

In this review we compare Vitafusion MultiVites to two other top multivitamins; Centrum Adults, and Kirkland Signature Daily Multi. This includes ingredients, dosages, cost per serving, price, and customer feedback from the thousands of reviews on Amazon.

We’ve also added recommendations for the best protein powder to combine with MultiVite gummies to balance your vitamin, mineral, Omega-3, probiotic, and protein intake.

The key selling point for any of Vitafusion’s gummy multivitamins is the taste. For some, the texture is also preferable to swallowing pills or softgels, but for this you do pay a premium.

Compared to other multivitamins, such as Nature’s Way Alive Max Daily and Centrum Adults, the vitamin and mineral profile is incredibly simple. There’s no proprietary blends or formula specifically tailored to men/women, just levels of key vitamins and minerals that in many cases meet or exceed your Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA).

But in our opinion, you get better value for money if you buy either the Vitafusion Women’s Gummy or Men’s Gummy Multivitamin.

If you buy one of the larger bottles, the cost per serving is pretty much equal. The gender-specific formulas also contain much higher levels of biotin (400 mcg vs. 15 mcg), twice the level of vitamin E (30 IU vs. 15 IU), and 50% more vitamin B12 (18 mcg vs. 12 mcg). You’re also getting 100 mg of calcium, which is completely missing from the Vitafusion Multivites formula.

If you’re looking to save money on your monthly supplement order, you might want to consider the Amazon Subscribe & Save program.

Subscribe & Save allows you to unlock savings of up to 15% on a wide range of sports nutrition products, including Vitafusion MultiVites (selected sizes only).

You can save 5% with a subscription to 1 product, or save the full 15% by subscribing to 5 products, provided they’re all delivered to the same address. The delivery schedule can be set from monthly, up to once every 6 months.

Although 5 products might sound a lot, if you already supplement with a protein powder, multivitamin, creatine, BCAA, and glutamine, the savings can soon add up. Who Are Vitafusion?

Made in the USA, vitafusion™ is one of the leading brands in the gummy vitamin industry, having produced high quality dietary supplements for over 20 years. This includes a number of bestsellers, such as MultiVites, Vitamin D3, and Power C, each of which has over 1,000 highly rated reviews on Amazon.

Such positive customer feedback is partly due to their focus on high nutritional accuracy for the ingredients in each supplement. Comprehensive lab testing ensures quality standards are maintained, using processes such as microbiology testing, potency testing, and heavy metals testing.

Although MultiVites is considered their bestseller, vitafusion™ have an extensive product catalog. This contains a wide range of individual nutrients, including Vitamin A, Zinc, and Iron. Combination supplements are also available, such as Relaxed Mood, which blends L-Theanine with Zinc to support relaxation.

vitafusion™ first introduced children’s gummy vitamins to the market back in 1996. Today, you can still find a unique line of kids gummies, sold as the L’il Critters™ collection, in addition to their adult supplements.

Multivitamin Supplement Buying Guide

Vitafusion MultiVites Review Summary

Overall Review Rating

4 / 5

So, are Vitafusion MultiVites worth buying?

In terms of gummy multivitamins, they offer good value for money, with each serving being priced around $0.13 at time of writing.

But based on the levels of vitamins and minerals, we recommend the Men's or Women's version of the Vitafusion gummies. With the larger 150-count bottles, the serving price is the same as Multivites, but with more specialized formulas.

One potential downside is that the levels are much lower than for the same priced multivitamin in tablet or softgel form. But this is balanced out by the more enjoyable taste and texture.

Another potential problem is that Vitafusion MultiVites don't contain iron. If you're looking for a good multivitamin with iron, we recommend Centrum Adults (18 mg per serving, 100% of your Daily Value).
