Founded in 2004 by Marc Lobliner, Scivation is a supplement company built around delivering high quality BCAAs and eletrolytes to support intra-workout nutrition.

The XTEND product line is designed to help you recover and rehydrate, during and after your workout, with high levels of leucine to boost lean muscle growth.

The original XTEND BCAAs supplement is still available in 15 different flavors, in the same research-proven 2:1:1 ratio. But you can also find variations such as XTEND Free, XTEND Raw, and a ready-to-drink (RTD) version instead of the powder.

  • XTEND Free: An all natural version of XTEND, with no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners. Available in Crisp Apple and Strawberry Kiwi flavors.
  • XTEND Raw: Similar to XTEND Free, with no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners. The difference is that this formula has no calories, carbs, or sugars, in addition to lower levels of sodium and potassium.
  • XTEND Go: Energy + BCAAs. Includes 200 mg of caffeine and 200 mg of L-theanine per serving, alongside 7 g of BCAAs.
  • XTEND Perform: Uses Scivation’s PEAK02 formula to help increase maximum power output and oxygen utilization.

Scivation also produce a joint support supplement in the form of Flexatril, and a pre-workout BCAA formula in the form of Quake 10.0.

In April 2017, Nutrabolt purchased Scivation, which now features alongside Cellucor and Royal Sport in their brand portfolio. By combining Cellucor’s market-leading C4 pre-workout supplements with the intra-workout benefits of Scivation Xtend, Nutrabolt can now deliver a more complete range of fitness nutrition.

Scientific studies funded by Scivation:

  • 1. Consuming BCAAs during resistance training increases lean mass, muscle strength and fat loss (JISSN)
  • 2. BCAA supplementation and resistance training maintains lean body mass during a caloric restricted diet (JISSN)
