By sliding a large metal pin along the inside of the dumbbell bar and rotating the large, flat face of the pin a couple of times you soon have the plates locked safely in place.
There’s no complicated locking mechanism and no slot in the plates for the weight plate to risk sliding off. The end of each locking pin is even clearly labelled to let you know when they are in the locked position.
When choosing the shape of the weight plates, Ironmaster realised that they needed a design that would rest securely on any stand when not in use.

Comfortable Handle Design
Together with their intuitive weight plate adjustment system, the Ironmaster Adjustable Dumbbells also provide a comfortable, easy to grip handle.
Narrower in diameter than some designs, this helps to wrap your hand around the bar to get a better grip on heavier weights.
