As for the micronutrient profile (vitamins and minerals), you don’t have anywhere near the same level of vitamins and antioxidants that you get with EAS AdvantEDGE or Myoplex. On average Myoplex carries twice the quantity per packet compared to a scoop of AdvantEDGE, and in some cases more. Pure Whey only has 10% of your daily value for calcium, and 4% daily value for iron, which is still considered low for a whey protein powder.
Other ingredients listed on the label include cocoa that has been processed with alkali, natural and artificial flavor, xanthan gum, carrageenan, acesulfame potassium, and sucralose as artificial sweeteners, and soy lecithin to improve mixability.

At the time of writing this review, each 43 gram serving of EAS 100% Pure Whey was priced at $0.74, based on buying the 5-pound tub.
This makes it an excellent option if you need more protein than Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey, while at the same time paying less per tub (6 g more protein per serving. Gold Standard priced at $0.78).
You get an extra gram of fat and carbs with EAS Pure 100% Whey, but in our opinion it’s a worthy compromise.
The range of flavors is a little limited, and certainly can’t compete with Optimum Nutrition (16+ flavors), but having Chocolate, Strawberry, and Vanilla to choose from should keep most people happy.
If you want the best value for money, buy the 5-pound tub. The smaller 2-pound tub works out about 10 cents more per serving, while 30 of the pre-measured ‘on the go’ packets is closer to $1.50 per serving. Good for convenience, but not cost effective over the long-term.
